All members of the Kingston Farmers Market will behave towards market customers, staff, volunteers, and each other in a professional manner that fosters a sense of market community and camaraderie, a spirit of cooperative involvement, and that promotes the market as a whole to the North Kitsap community.
TIME AND LOCATION:
The Market runs from May 6 to October 13, 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM every Saturday, located at the Port of Kingston on the grass at Mike Wallace Marina Park.
Paid before the first Market of the season : $40
Paid between Market opening and the second Saturday in August: $50
Paid after the second Saturday in August: $25
Daily Booth Fees
Produce (grown or gathered from the earth): $10
Food Processors (cooked or heated): $25
Food (eaten on site): $25
General Artisans and Others: $25
Junior Vendor (12 to 16 years): $10
Kid Vendors (under 12 years): $1
Additional Booth Fee: $1 per week for kid vendors. $10 per week for everyone else.
Additional Pricing Notes:
(1) A Vendor can sell at the Market two times without becoming a member of the Kingston Farmers Market. The third time that the Vendor wishes to sell during the season, he/she must become a member of the Market with payment of the applicable Membership Fee and completed Vendor Application. The Market Manager and on-site Board member(s) will jury the guest vendors’ products to determine appropriateness.
(2) A maximum of 2 independent Vendors may share a single booth space but both must be Market members.
(3) Spaces larger than 10 x 10 (including food trailers) are required to pay an additional $10 fee per week.
(4) Special market days, such as July 4th, may be priced differently.

To apply for the Kingston Farmers Market Summer Market season, complete the Vendor Application. You can get a $10 discount on the Annual Dues by paying before the market closes on the opening day of the season. Feel free to email the Market Manager if you have any questions.
ONCE YOU BELONG:
Once you have paid your Annual Dues, you are a member of the Market and may vote for the Market Board of Directors at the next Annual Membership Meeting. You may come to sell your products at any of the regular summer Markets (not including any Special Markets such as 4th of July). You do not have to come to all the Markets or inform us if you aren’t coming on any particular Saturday. As a vendor you will occasionally receive emails and mailings about the Market.
Each vendor has a 10′ x 10′ space on the lawn. Space assignment is on a ‘first-come-first-served’ basis, except for food and produce vendors. There is a layout that we follow in setting up our booths so, when you arrive, ask the Market Manager where you should set up. Vendors must provide their own umbrellas, gazebos, tables etc.
Umbrellas, canopies, or gazebos must be secured to the ground or weighted at all times to prevent blow-overs. A minimum of 25 pounds of weight per leg is required. There is no water or electricity available to vendors.
Vendors are not to start setting up their booths until 7:00 AM and are required to be on site by 9:00 AM in order to participate in that day’s market. The market opens at 9:30 AM and no sales should be made before 9:30 AM. Vendors are requested to stay for the entire market day.
Vendors are responsible for taking down their set-up, disposing of their own garbage, and leaving their spot as trash-free as when they arrived.
Vendors may park next to the market area for unloading and loading only. Vehicles must be parked elsewhere during the market hours to leave parking open for customers.
Vendor parking is available in the commuter lot for a fee. If you need help finding a place to park, the Market Manager can help you. Vendors with ADA placards can get a parking pass from the Port of Kingston to park in any limited time parking stall without fear of ticket or towing. Paid stalls require payment regardless of whether or not you have an ADA placard or Port ADA pass. If you are an ADA Vendor, please park as far away from the market area as you possibly can to allow closer spots for market customers.
It is very important that we leave the 2-hour parking near the Marina Park (especially the ADA spots) for our customers! There are only a few stalls, clearly marked as 2-hour parking, which will be the spots for our customers. Vendors should not park there except to load & unload. Also, do not park in slots designated for tenants, KCYC, staff or others. You may be ticketed if you violate these rules.
Weekly Booth Fees must be paid to the Market Manager each week that you vend at the Market.
No smoking is allowed by Vendors on the Market property. Vendors may not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during Market hours and may not have alcohol or drugs on the premises. Vendors may not bring dogs or other domesticated pets to the market (unless selling them, with Board approval).
As a juried market, the Board reserves the right to screen the products sold at the market. Products must be of good quality, and handcrafted or homegrown by the vendor, who is a resident of the Olympic or Kitsap Peninsulas. All food and farm products must meet the applicable regulations of the Kitsap County Health Department. Produce must be grown locally, or may be imported from other Washington counties with Board pre-approval.
THE MARKET BOARD:
The Board is made up of current and past vendors and other market supporters. The Board meets monthly and meetings are open to vendors.
